The traditional CV with "Objective" and "References available on request" is dead. Hiring managers in 2026 spend 6 seconds on a CV. What they actually want is proof.

A Proof Portfolio is not a fancy website. It's a single page or PDF that answers one question: "Can you do the work?"

It has 4 sections:

1. The Problem You Solve: Don't write "I am a passionate digital marketer." Write "I help small businesses get more customers from Google and Instagram without big ad budgets."

2. 3 Case Studies, Not Job Descriptions: Instead of "Worked at Company X 2022-2024," show it. Project 1: Increased Instagram engagement by 140% for a local cafe in 30 days. How I did it + Screenshot. Project 2 and 3 the same. No experience? Do it for a friend's business, a church, or a fake brand. Proof beats employment history.

3. The Toolbox: List the tools you actually use: Canva, Excel, WordPress, ChatGPT, GA4, etc. Recruiters search for these keywords.

4. One Click to Contact You: WhatsApp link, email, LinkedIn. Make it frictionless.

Where to host it? Use Notion, Canva website, Carrd.co, or switcherbrief.com/portfolio. It costs R0 and takes one afternoon.

Your CV says you can do it. Your portfolio proves you already did.
